This kitten was one of several dropped off on our clinic doorstep one morning. It happens every now and again. There’s a carrier or a cardboard box, sometimes accompanied by a note, that greets us at the door. Mostly we get kittens, but occasionally puppies or an adult cat or dog will be dropped off.

Fortunately, we always seem to be able to find a home for them. This kitten was adopted by a member of our staff at Hillcrest Animal Hospital. Kittens are such frenetic creatures. I like that this one looks so still and calm — also that he followed the first rule of modeling and found his light! (more…)
